Toward the Atari SG: designing the internal tape delay pt1

When I got in on Saturday night I looked at the empty hole where the bridge pickup used to live and thought… I want a spool of tape in there with a write head and a record head, and I want to change the pitch of the delay effect created by spinning a fisherman’s reel.     On the subject of tape…My tape player in my car runs a little slow, and if I listen to Creedence anywhere but in Mr Pyrite, they sound like the Hudson Brothers. Which is a shame.
